Yes, as long as the spare tire is the same size, load range (weight rating) and has the matching wheel bolt pattern you can use a bias ply spare to replace a radial main tire for the short distance you'll travel to get the radial repaired or replaced. You will need the smaller Titan Chain Tire Chains # TC2526 for your 2006 Toyota Tundra with 265/70-17 tires. The Chains # TC2533 are for larger tires and will not fit your Tundra's tires. I recommend picking up a spare Rubber Strap # TCRE-1 since that is the weak point of the chains and can break. We do not carry repair sleeves unfortunately. If the damage is severe you may consider replacing the spindle with a new one. I have attached a link of the spindles that we carry. If you follow the chart at the top of the page it easy to figure out the replacement. You will need a digital caliper like part # PTW80157 to measure the spindle. You can use an ST225/75D15 as a temporary spare (provided the wheel is 6 or 6-1/2 inches wide) but you definitely do not want to have it on for long. I would say that it is fine to use to get you to a place that can repair or replace the 205/75-15. For replacement 205/75-15s we have a load range C, # AM1ST92 that would work great for you.

First, you do want to make sure the tires are the same type, radial or bias ply. But in the case of a spare, since it is a temporary situation you can mix them as long as you get the tire repaired or replaced as soon as possible.

Thanks for the photo and it is a great idea to replace your Shasta's 225/75-15 car tires with trailer tires that are size 205/75-15, which will be 1.2" smaller in diameter and 0.8" narrower. It will look great on your trailer and not too small as they are very close in size.

The Thule CG9 Tire Chains, part # TH2004205104, will fit the 255/45R18 tire size. We may have chains that will fit that tire size but if your owners manual states not to use chains on your 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP, you cannot use chains.

Both of the trailer tire sizes you referenced, ST235/80R16 and ST235/85R16, fit the same wheel sizes. Both will fit 16-inch wheels with widths of 6-, 6-1/2-, 7- and 7-1/2-inches. The dimension that differs between these two tires is their overall diameter when they are inflated to their rated pressures.
ST235/80R16 tires will have an overall diameter of approximately 30.9-inches while a fully-inflated ST235/85R16 tire's overall diameter will be approximately 31.6-inches.
